Hi, I’m Ken Snyder
KTA Security was founded in November 2021, but my experience in the security industry goes back much further.
I began working in the industry in 2002 and started my first security company in 2008. I successfully grew that business into a leading security provider in Fort McMurray, earning that position for five consecutive years. Through those years of hands-on experience, I learned that great security is about much more than installing equipment. It’s about doing the job properly, standing behind your work, and being there for your customers when they need you.
That experience is ultimately what led me to start KTA Security.
My Philosophy
Over the years, I kept hearing the same frustrations from homeowners and business owners: poor service, inconsistent support, and security systems that simply weren’t installed to the standard they expected. I knew there was a better way to do things.
I take pride in my work, and I wanted to build a company where quality workmanship and exceptional customer service weren't extras—they were the foundation of the business.
Together with my leadership team and trusted business partners, who bring decades of additional industry experience, we’ve built KTA Security around one straightforward principle: Treat every client's property as if it were our own and provide a security solution we are proud to stand behind.
